CDL-A Driver
A full-time opportunity exists for an experienced CDL-A Driver to ensure the safe and timely transport of materials and equipment to various hardscape construction sites. The role focuses on efficient logistics, supporting on-site teams, and maintaining safety and equipment standards.
Based in Sterling Heights, MI, this company is an established, award-winning Custom Hardscape Design/Build organization. They have over 31 years of experience in the industry, creating stunning and functional residential and commercial hardscape projects throughout the Metro Detroit area. This offers a stable work environment in a company dedicated to high craftsmanship and client service.
Compensation & Benefits- $25.00 - $30.00/hour, commensurate with experience

- Safely transport hardscape materials and equipment to designated project sites.
- Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and records of deliveries and driving hours.
- Secure all loads properly to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and on-site project managers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding commercial vehicle operation.
- Perform basic routine maintenance and report any vehicle issues promptly.
- Valid CDL-A with Air Brakes Endorsement..
- Clean driving record with a history of safe commercial vehicle operation.
- Prior experience driving for a construction, landscaping, or hardscaping company is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to physically assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Reliability and a commitment to teamwork.
