Dash Mart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by Door Dash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. Customers order their convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared foods in the Door Dash app, and our team members fulfill orders in a real, brick-and-mortar store for Dashers to deliver. We’re open early and close late – some sites even run 24/7!
Aboutthe Role
Dash Mart is looking for a motivated and experienced individual that excels in fast‑paced, physical environments and is excited to roll up their sleeves and actively engage in day‑to‑day operations. In this role, you will work within a local fulfillment center supporting site management, running great shifts and delegating tasks. As a Shift Lead, you will have shift responsibility for fulfilling orders in a warehouse environment and maintaining inventory, and in some locations, this involves preparing food in a light‑prep kitchen.
Responsibilities- Own your assigned shifts, including warehouse and kitchen processes, safety/cleanliness, quality, and training. Maintain accountability for inventory, equipment, and other company assets to ensure they are properly handled, stored, and protected from loss or theft.
- Deliver high‑quality customer orders by executing orders accurately, communicating with customers when issues arise, and ensuring Dasher pickups go smoothly.
- Guide Operations Associates through their shift by ensuring the team works safely and productively and serve as the point of escalation for daily operations.
- Support operations in both the warehouse and kitchen, assist with day‑to‑day tasks, and lead by example. Engage in professional and respectful interactions with team members and customers, ensuring a positive and safe atmosphere in the warehouse and a high‑quality experience for our customers.
- Contribute ideas to improve our quality and customer experience.
- Self‑motivated, positive, and a team player. Work well with others, bringing a great attitude to work each day.
- Proven track record of success in food and beverage, warehouse, and/or retail environments.
- Ability to be on your feet, move heavy products, and lift up to 50 lbs. as required. Operate a pallet jack and hand truck.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a food handling certificate. (Door Dash will provide training.)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; college diploma is a plus but not required.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Organized and proficient with Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Flexible schedule with availability for a variety of shifts per week.

Base pay: $21.30 – $21.30 USD per hour. Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
