The Pathways to Employment Program Coordinator

The Pathways to Employment Program Coordinator oversees career-focused education programs that help adult learners improve their English, literacy, workplace, and job-specific skills so they can successfully enter or advance in the workforce. This position combines teaching, program coordination, partnership development, and student support to ensure learners have a clear pathway to employment. The Pathways to Employment Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Adult Education.

What Your

Key Responsibilities Will Be:

In this role, the coordinator will teach career-focused English language and literacy classes for adult learners while coordinating programs that connect students to workforce training and employment opportunities. They will build and maintain partnerships with employers, workforce trainers, community organizations, and college departments to create pathways that support student success. The position also provides direct support to students as they navigate career training, college programs, financial aid, and other resources that help them achieve their educational and employment goals.

Responsibilities include recruiting and enrolling students, monitoring student progress and program outcomes, collaborating with instructors and staff to deliver high-quality programming, and maintaining accurate program records and reporting requirements.

What You Will Need:

* Strong teaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.

* Strong organizational, project coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, student information systems, and using data to improve student outcomes.

What We Require:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

* Experience teaching adult learners, English language learners, or workforce-focused education programs.

* Positive, solution-oriented mindset with the initiative to identify challenges, solve problems, and continuously improve programs and services.

* Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.

* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend events.

* Strong interpersonal skills.

* Excellent organizational skills

What We Can

Offer:

This is a part-time (0.75 or 195 working days per year) professional appointment. Annual salary is $30,, depending on qualifications and experience.
