Director of Financial Aid
Northeastern Junior College is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Director of Financial Aid. The Director of Financial Aid leads a team of professionals supporting students with financial opportunities in order to attend NJC.

What Your
Key Responsibilities Will Be:
The Director of Financial Aid will provide leadership and management for the Office of Financial Aid including all financial aid programs and services. This director must possess a working knowledge of all federal, state, institutional and Veteran's Administration Educational Benefits regulations; ensure effective efficient processing of financial aid applications and the disbursement of funds and ensure compliance in all areas. This position also is responsible for the supervision of the financial aid staff.

* Experience with standard MS Office programs
What We Require:
* Bachelor's degree in education, accounting, business, management, CIS or related field from accredited college or university.
* Progressive experience in financial aid in higher education setting.
* Knowledge of Federal Title IV and VA programs and regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented.
* Proficient use of computers and applications
* Valid Colorado driver license.
* Must submit to and successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check as a condition of hire, including fingerprinting.
What We Can
Offer:
This is a full-time professional appointment. Annual salary is $59,000-$63,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Competitive fringe benefit package available which includes medical, dental, life, PERA Retirement Plan, 11 paid holidays, and several optional benefits. Position to begin as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
