Clean Harbors in Sterling, CO is searching for a Rail Yard Technician to perform industrial labor and railcar operations outdoors, often under adverse conditions. This entry‑level, full‑time role offers $23.50 hourly pay/paid weekly with overtime and opportunities for career growth. Day shift Monday‑Friday 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

- Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting safely at all times
- Operate industrial equipment, including forklift
- Railcar experience preferred, but not required
- Perform general labor throughout the facility, preparing materials for the incineration process
- Ensure the safety of self and others around them
- Clean up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions to prevent injury
- Follow all standard operating procedures
- Perform other duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with industrial or manual labor
- Ability to work in adverse environments (cold/heat)
- Excellent commitment to health and safety
- Accountability and punctuality
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground
- Climb up and down vertical ladders
- Reach out, over and down while exerting a force
- 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected – depth perception is critical
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to operate a forklift – required
- Valid US driver's license – required
