Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee a Commercial Remodel project, any experience in the installation of an Actall ATLAS® Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) would be a plus. This role is responsible for managing all field operations related to the installation, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors performing the ACTALL ATLAS RTLS installation.
- Manage all field activities associated with the change order from mobilization through project completion.
- Coordinate installation activities with the owner, project manager, design team, and other trades to minimize disruptions.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
- Identify and resolve field conflicts while maintaining project milestones.
- Verify system installation is complete and ready for testing, commissioning, and owner turnover.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial or institutional projects.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and change order documents.
- Experience with low-voltage, security, life-safety, or specialty technology systems is highly preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare, corrections, or behavioral health facilities is a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
