Maintenance Technician

Schedule:

PT Mon-Fri 8am-12noon

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll handle preventive maintenance, inspections, installations, and repairs for residential and industrial HVAC systems, as well as a variety of other maintenance tasks throughout our community. You'll work under the supervision of the Maintenance Director to keep our facility safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers
  • Change filters on HVAC equipment and manage supply stocking and lifting tasks
  • Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently with high-quality workmanship
  • Conduct daily inspections of common areas and community amenities to ensure proper condition and functionality
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on systems such as HVAC, plumbing fixtures, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers
  • Identify and report potentially hazardous situations that may not be immediately obvious to others
  • Enforce safety procedures in compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Notify the supervisor of supply and equipment needs to support daily operations and resident care

Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.00 D.O.E. / Final date to receive applications: 8/15/2026

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare maintenance environment preferred
