Position: Director of Non-Interventional Cardiology (Sterling)

Overview

Job Summary The Director of Non-Interventional Cardiology (MA Market) serves as the clinical and strategic leader for all non-interventional cardiology services across Healthy

U Clinics. This role provides physician leadership focused on quality, safety, clinical consistency, and evidence-based cardiovascular care, including preventive cardiology, diagnostic cardiology, and chronic disease management. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), the Director partners closely with providers, Clinical Operations, and executive leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered cardiac care aligned with organizational goals and value-based care initiatives.

This role also functions as a cultural ambassador, supporting provider engagement, clinical excellence, and collaboration across all markets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for all non-interventional cardiology services across Healthy

    U Clinics.
  • Establish, standardize, and maintain clinical protocols, pathways, and best practices for non-interventional cardiology, including preventive cardiology, diagnostic testing, heart failure management, arrhythmia management (non-invasive), and chronic cardiovascular disease care.
  • Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with national cardiology guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Lead peer review activities, monitor clinical outcomes, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a clinical advisor to the CMO and executive leadership on cardiology-related matters.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Quality teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer requirements.
  • Support audits, chart reviews, and corrective action planning related to cardiology services.
  • Monitor performance metrics including quality outcomes, access, utilization, and patient experience.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, diagnostic accuracy, and adherence to clinical standards across all locations.
  • Partner with the Director of Clinical Operations to standardize workflows, documentation, scheduling practices, and care coordination for cardiology services.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize clinic efficiency, access to care, and patient flow.
  • Provide clinical input on staffing models, provider onboarding, and competency expectations for cardiology-related roles.
  • Serve as a Cultural Ambassador for Healthy

    U, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
  • Strengthen provider relationships through transparent communication, mentorship, and engagement.
  • Participate in provider engagement initiatives, including feedback sessions and leadership forums, as approved by the CMO.
  • Identify and proactively address cultural, clinical, or operational barriers impacting provider satisfaction, collaboration, or performance.
  • Champion initiatives that support provider well-being, professional development, and reduced burnout.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Cardiology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in applicable state(s).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical leadership, service line leadership, or medical director experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in non-interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality standards, and clinical protocol development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and executive leadership.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to Healthy

    U Clinics as needed.
