Project Engineer - NPD - Maintain awareness of competitor products & business in personal care appliance industry; manage project flow w mfg & other x-func staff; adere to procedures re product devel & design output pls non-eng depts; resp for design, mfg, cost, tooling, performance, quality specs, corrective action; establish, revise drawings, write-ups, routers & specs; conduct elec, quality, performance, safety, reliability testing;

establish bill of material, oversee models & schedule design review; work w mfg & quality to devel fixtures & gauges; track schedule. Reqd: BS in Mech, Indus, or Chem Eng; 6 yrs exp in electro-mech/mech design eng or product eng; 5 yrs exp in Electro-mech/Mechanical Design; 5 yrs exp w design tools; 5 yrs exp in consumer electronics or home appliances industry;

5 yrs exp w eng materials & mfg process assoc w plastics, metal stamping, motor & machining mfg; 2 yrs exp w project mgmt of precision electro-mech products or machinery; 2 yrs exp using simulation tools; 2 yrs exp w 3-D modeling; 2 yrs exp w cutting elements.
