Use your leadership skills to help guide one of our growing programs in Whiteside County! A Community Support Team aims to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes for children with behavioral health concerns and to increase community functioning by attaining recovery goals. This is an intensive service program in which at least 60% of services must be provided in the natural setting.

This position would function as the Clinician and Supervisor for a team of 3-4 staff.

• Supervise, assist, and support a team of 3-4 staff members.
• Apply a trauma-sensitive collaborative approach to clients' recovery.
• Complete and maintain service documentation according to agency and regulatory standards.
• Use clinical judgement to diagnose, treat clients and make decisions within the range of program services, especially those requiring behavioral health and trauma treatment.

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Candidate must meet the requirements of a Qualified Mental Health Practitioner (QMHP) as defined by the State of Illinois. (see definition below)

Qualified Mental Health Professional or QMHP definition - One of the following:

• A licensed social worker (LSW) possessing at least a master's degree in social work and licensed under the Clinical Social Work and Social Work Practice Act [225 ILCS 20] with specialized training in mental health services or with at least two years experience in mental health services;
• A licensed professional counselor possessing at least a master's degree and licensed under the Professional Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor Licensing Act [225 ILCS 107] with specialized training in mental health services or with at least two years experience in mental health services;
• A registered nurse (RN) licensed under the Nurse Practice Act [225 ILCS 65] with at least one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting or who possesses a master's degree in psychiatric nursing;
• An occupational therapist (OT) licensed under the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act [225 ILCS 75] with at least one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting; or
• An individual possessing at least a master's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related field who has completed a practicum or internship that included a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised direct service in a mental health setting, or who has one year of clinical experience under the supervision of a QMHP.

We currently offer a hiring bonus for newly hired licensed clinicians or bilingual clinicians. This only applies to LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, and bilingual degreed clinician candidates. Bilingual ability relates to Spanish, and the candidate must be willing to use their bilingual ability. Candidates will receive $500 after they are hired and an additional $500 after their 6-month anniversary.
