About the Position:

P&P Industries is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join its team. This role plays an important part in supporting a positive, well‑run, and high‑performing work environment across the organization. You will be responsible for executing day‑to‑day HR operations and supporting employees across the full lifecycle, including coordination of key safety activities and compliance tracking. You will support a blended workforce environment that includes both full‑time employees and hourly staff engaged through a third‑party staffing partner.

In this role, you will stay close to the work and partner with employees and leaders on employee relations, recruiting support, compliance, and safety reporting, while ensuring HR processes run smoothly and consistently. This is a hands‑on position that requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do:

HR Administration & Systems
  • Manage daily HR administrative operations, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, recordkeeping, and employee documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and required documentation, supporting audits and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
  • Prepare recurring HR reports and support leadership updates on attendance, workforce trends, and compliance activities.
  • Maintain required HR and safety reporting, including OSHA logs and related compliance documentation.
  • Oversee attendance tracking, time‑off requests, call‑offs, and related staffing coordination.
Employee Support & Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, including benefits, policies, and workplace concerns.
  • Manage intake, documentation, and follow‑up of workplace incidents, injuries, and employee complaints, including coordination of required reporting.
  • Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR‑related issues.
  • Support performance management processes, including reviews and development planning.
Benefits & Compliance
  • Coordinate and track employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and FMLA documentation.
  • Support the implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead and support talent acquisition efforts, including candidate screening, pre‑employment processes, and offer documentation.
  • Deliver effective onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, scheduling, and orientation logistics.
  • Support career awareness initiatives, career fairs, and workforce development activities.
Training & Engagement
  • Manage employee communications, including newsletters, employee spotlight, and wellness initiatives.
  • Identify and implement improvements to HR processes while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams to support employee engagement and workforce initiatives.
  • Model company core values and a strong safety‑first, on‑time work ethic.
What You Need:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
