Join Our Team as a 2nd Shift Stiffener Welder

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our 2nd shift team assembling and welding radiator stiffener components.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m.

- 10:00 p.m.

Wage: $21.42 + $1.00 shift differential after completion of training

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and manually operate MIG welding equipment to weld radiator stiffener components
  • Adjust welding parameters including voltage, amperage, gas flow, wire feed speed, and weld travel speed
  • Operate oxygen/acetylene torch equipment as required for radiator welding operations
  • Set up, run, and troubleshoot welding machines and related equipment
  • Read and interpret simple blueprints, prints, and job traveler packets
  • Measure components using metric tape measures to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Apply required hardware according to job travelers and engineering prints
  • Inspect welds and finished components to ensure quality standards are met
  • Support cross‑training efforts and assist in other production areas as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
Quality Related Responsibilities
  • Perform work in accordance with MENK USA LLC ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
  • Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements.
  • Identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming conditions
Skills
  • Knowledge of MIG welding processes and oxygen/acetylene torch operation
  • Ability to weld multiple material thicknesses
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work productively and maintain consistent output
  • Strong attention to quality and detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required
  • Multi‑thickness welding experience required
  • Overhead crane or industrial lifting experience preferred
Education and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Combination of technical school training and/or on‑the‑job MIG welding experience
  • Proficiency with tools of the welding trade required
Additional Role Criteria

Employees must meet minimum competency requirements as defined in the company training matrix. Required training must be completed and maintained. Competencies will be evaluated through the performance appraisal process. Employees must be in good standing and actively employed at the time of transfer consideration.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required
  • Ability to travel throughout the facility to perform job duties
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time in a production environment
  • Ability to lift and move materials using appropriate equipment
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
