Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and helping produce high-quality products? We're looking for a Finishing team member who is ready to learn, grow, and support Menk USA's finishing operations.
The purpose of this role is to:
The Finishing team member supports Menk USA's production by performing entry-level finishing tasks. This role focuses on foundational finishing processes such as shot blasting, paint prep, part prep, and sanding, and operates under supervision to help ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform entry-level finishing operations under guided instructions, including shot blasting, paint prep, part prep, and sanding.
Inspect parts visually and report defects.
Operate finishing tools and equipment (assisted use of flooding guns, pallet jacks, spray equipment).
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Complete the Finishing training matrix and cross-train in other finishing tasks as available.
Support operational needs while primarily assigned to one area.
Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Skills:
Basic understanding of finishing processes and equipment.
Ability to follow guided instructions and visual inspection procedures.
Basic tool operation skills (assisted use of finishing equipment).
Awareness of safety standards and proper use of PPE.
Willingness to learn and develop skills under supervision.
Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry in finishing systems.
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
0–2 years of manufacturing or finishing experience preferred.
Exposure to overhead cranes or industrial lifts is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
Ability to travel throughout the facility to perform job duties.
Ability to spend extended periods in a production environment.
Ability to lift and move materials using appropriate equipment.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
