Now Hiring 1st/2nd Shift Production Set-Up Technician

Train on 1st shift then move to 2nd shift once trained.

Pay: up to $18/hr depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for set up of assigned production lines
• Perform production machine setups including mold changes when work cell areas are changing to a new product
• Perform setup of auxiliary equipment including sonic welders
• Perform setup of take out robots
• Support troubleshooting activities while production machines are in operation
• Maintain machine logbooks and Lean 5S protocols
• Make recommendations to maintenance and tool room on setup improvements
• Interface with maintenance, tool room, and production teams
• Demonstrate Safe and On-Time work ethic; adhere to safety procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a Lean facility preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of injection molding, machine operations, and continuous improvement methods
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions and production schedules
• Demonstrated basic ability with Microsoft Office Products and ERP systems
• Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Licensed Fork Truck and Crane Operator preferred
• Ability to sit, stand, bend/twist, work in high places, negotiate tight spaces, lift up to 55 lbs, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors
