Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates provide customer service across the store, handle cashier duties, restock shelves, assist pharmacy personnel, and promote CVS services and loyalty programs.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues.
• Offer a warm, friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and help locate additional items as needed.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they remain fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people improve health.

• Minimum age: 16 years.
• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Have adequate visual acuity to view a computer terminal, read, and inspect small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay range: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
