Job OverviewPerform routine maintenance, inspections, rebuilds and component replacements as a Trailer Technician in Sterling. Work on company trailers.
Responsibilities- Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to trailers – such as tire changes, minor electrical repairs and greasing.
- Use maintenance software to create and track work orders.
- Communicate status updates with internal customers.
- Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
- Basic welding skills preferred.
- Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
- Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
- Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
- Competitive hourly wages based on experience.
- Starting wages are $22.60 - $28.20 per hour based on experience.
- Non‑exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
- Non‑exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked (Weekend hours worked between 9 p.m. Friday – 5 a.m. Monday).
