Position OverviewAMSI Services, a division of VMG, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to support our fast-paced service operations team.
This role is critical to ensuring efficient scheduling, clear communication, and seamless coordination between customers and field technicians. You will play a key role in keeping service operations running smoothly while delivering a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate HVAC service calls with customers and field technicians
- Dispatch technicians based on skillset, location, and priority
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date service schedule
- Create, review, and close out work orders and service tickets
- Order and track parts required for service jobs
- Track open service calls and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Support billing by ensuring work orders are complete and accurate
Assist with warranty tracking and maintenance contract coordination - Serve as a liaison between field teams, customers, and internal departments
- Maintain accurate records in Service Titan or similar systems
- 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, or administrative support
- Experience in HVAC, mechanical, or construction service environment preferred
- Familiarity with Service Titan or similar dispatching software is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
- A strong communicator who keeps both customers and technicians informed
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented and proactive
- Detail-driven with a strong follow-through
