Relocation Consultant - Level II

Job Location s: US-VA-Sterling

Overview

As a Level II Relocation Consultant, your role involves offering relocation services to transferees per the client's relocation policy. This entails assessing the needs of the transferee and providing services that may encompass various aspects such as home marketing assistance, Buyer Value Option (BVO), Guaranteed Buy out (GBO), property management, home purchase aid, rental support, lease cancellation, relocation‑related travel arrangements, temporary accommodation, and household goods transportation.

The Relocation Consultant operates with the transferee's and client's best interests in mind, offering policy advice and aiding in relocation issues.

Responsibilities
  • Review and explain client relocation policies, procedures, and benefits to transferees.
  • Manage policy components to ensure compliance.
  • Manage policy exceptions as directed by the client.
  • Assess transferee needs and provide services and resources to meet those needs.
  • Manage and coordinate services and benefits to possibly include temporary living, home marketing and home sale, BVO, GBO mortgage (consultation and/or resources), home purchase, rental‑departure and destination, expense management, household goods movement, set up candidate tours, and any future approved services.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Team Lead, appropriate internal and external service providers, and appropriate client contact regarding the day‑to‑day management of assigned transferee activity.
  • Monitor progress and ensure the transferee's satisfaction with services.
  • Mentor Level 1 Relocation Consultants.
  • Maintain files and computer database on assigned transferees and activities.
  • Regularly communicate and coordinate with transferees and agents.
  • Provide the highest quality of customer service to all transferees.
  • Maintain a professional and positive work attitude and team spirit.
  • Always represent self and Cap Relo in a professional manner.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years' home sale experience (BVO/GBO expertise required)
  • 2+ years of college or strong academic history preferred.
  • Very good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer, database, and Microsoft Office experience.
