ResponsibilitiesPosition Overview
The Proposal & Growth Operations Analyst strengthens the operational engine behind REI’s Growth organization. Among other duties this role ensures proposals are compliant, pipeline data is accurate, and growth operations execute with discipline and precision. You will operate at the center of multiple concurrent pursuits, partnering with Proposal Managers and Growth leaders to increase efficiency, reduce friction, and improve execution quality.
This is a structured, deadline-driven environment where attention to detail, operational rigor, and collaboration are essential. This role does not own capture strategy or proposal content. Instead, it elevates the reliability, consistency, and effectiveness of the systems that enable them.
Project Overview
This position supports REI’s Growth organization by ensuring operational excellence across proposal and pipeline management. The role contributes directly to mission impact by improving compliance and quality, strengthening data integrity, and enabling disciplined execution across federal pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Director of Proposal and Growth Operations, the entire Growth Team, Executive Leadership, and diverse business and technical corporate staff and partners to coordinate and administer Proposal and Growth Operations tasks, reporting, and events.
Proposal Operations:
- Support Proposal Managers with document control and configuration governance in SharePoint.
- Develop compliance support materials, including outlines, trackers, matrices, and status logs.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for formatting, compliance, completeness, and submission readiness.
- Format and maintain compliant resumes, past performance citations, and standard proposal artifacts.
- Support electronic and hardcopy production requirements.
- Utilize established AI-enabled tools to assist with compliance checks, structured analysis, and content reviews.
- Ensure strict adherence to defined Proposal Operations processes and protocols.
Growth Systems & Pipeline Hygiene:
- Maintain Salesforce pipeline data accuracy and discipline.
- Build and manage custom Salesforce reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
- Prepare recurring pipeline and pursuit status reports.
- Support account and offering meetings by preparing materials, facilitating meetings, and tracking action items.
- Manage Growth calendars and operational logistics.
- Promote data integrity and reporting consistency across the Growth organization.
Market Intelligence & Monitoring:
- Monitor SAM.gov, Gov Win, and related acquisition platforms.
- Track new opportunities and amendments.
- Maintain internal tracking systems to ensure timely awareness of relevant solicitations.
Qualifications:
- 3–4 years of experience supporting federal proposal operations strongly preferred.
- Experience working in regulated, deadline-driven environments (federal contracting preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables.
- Experience supporting proposals in the $5M–$50M range and/or task order environments preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a high-performance team environment.
- Comfort leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance compliance review and operational efficiency.
