Our client is a trusted general contracting firm based in Northern, Virginia delivering high-quality commercial and residential construction services across the region. They specialize in interior build-outs, renovations, and tenant improvements, with a reputation for integrity, craftsmanship, and on-time project delivery.

The Interior Superintendent will oversee and manage all field operations related to interior construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who ensures projects are executed to company quality standards, delivered on schedule, and completed within budget. The Interior Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating subcontractors
, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring seamless communication between the field and the project management team.

• Supervise day-to-day field operations for interior construction and renovation projects

• Manage schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers
  , and field personnel to achieve quality project outcomes.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance with plans/specifications.
• Enforce and maintain safety standards in alignment with OSHA and Utica Contracting policies.
• Communicate proactively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Review and interpret construction documents, drawings
  , and specifications.
• Track project materials, deliveries
  , and inventory for timely execution.
• Ensure quality control across all aspects of the project, addressing deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and documentation of site activities.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in interior construction, renovations, or tenant improvements.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, codes, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate subcontractors and crews.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
