Electrical Asstant Project Manager

What You'll Do

• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs (Return for Information), and meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning, coordinating, resolving problem areas, and ensuring all policies, procedures, and standards are maintained.
• Maintain change orders, submittal, and drawing control logs; prepare required logs and other documentation for construction meetings.
• Ensure contract submittals are accurate and timely.
• Create and issue subcontractor contracts.
• Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Follow the project quality control plan.
• Interact with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation for manuals.
• Keep the Warranty Log up to date.
• Attend company/project meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., and provide project management support.
• Cooperate with and assist field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.
• Monitor other contractors' activities and progress.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
• Prepare price change orders, project reports, and documentation.
• Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the role within the business unit.

• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
• Tactful professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors, and others.
• Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and follow‑up skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
• Ability to identify and meet customers' expectations and requirements.
• Proficiency with a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  Oracle preferred.
• Prioritization and management of multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
• Professional interaction with all levels of employees, management, staff, vendors, clients, and others.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction‑related role.
• Combination of training, education, and relevant work experience equivalent to the minimum requirement.

• Activity primarily on active construction sites; includes sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending.
• Indoor work with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
• Noise level typically low to medium.
• Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
