The Role
We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Sterling, VA. This is a full‑time position.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
- Assisting the safety team.
- Handling and moving jobsite materials.
- Assisting carpenters with any projects.
- Helping with loading and unloading of deliveries.
Required:
- Possess 1 year of construction experience.
- Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
- Provide primary support to field supervision.
- Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle, manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
- Work on uneven surfaces/heights, read/write, see & hear well (naturally or with correction).
- Must lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
- Work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
- Ability to work outside.
- Work overtime and weekend hours.
- Punctuality and promptness required daily.
