The Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Sterling, VA, responsible for leading construction projects from planning through completion. This position oversees project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinates with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, and ensures alignment with contract requirements and company standards. Day‑to‑day tasks include managing project timelines, organizing material and equipment deliveries, tracking progress, and preparing regular status reports.
The Project Manager conducts site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance, proactively resolves issues that may impact project outcomes, and supports commissioning activities and facility handover. The role also involves collaborating with logistics and expediting personnel to maintain efficient workflows and minimize delays.
- Project management skills, including Project Management and Inspection, to oversee construction activities and ensure quality and compliance.
- Expediting‑related skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting, to coordinate materials, equipment, and documentation in a timely manner.
- Logistics Management skills to organize deliveries, manage supply chains, and support efficient site operations.
- Experience in commercial or mission‑critical construction environments, preferably with general contracting or construction management firms.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office tools; familiarity with construction documentation and scheduling platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in Sterling, VA, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving project needs.
