Mechanical Project Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee MEP projects. This full-charge role involves managing multiple medium to large-scale projects, with responsibilities that include preparing reports, maintaining records, securing vendor pricing, processing purchase orders, approving invoices, and maintaining correspondence with owner representatives.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the cost of goods on all assigned jobs.
- Maintain and review all RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, change proposals, project schedules, project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices for multiple projects.
- Analyze projects to determine scope, cost, and scheduling requirements.
- Obtain permits from both General Contractors and local jurisdictions.
- Arrange for returns of unused materials to vendors and ensure credit has been issued.
- Obtain drawings from General Contractors and distribute them to necessary personnel.
- Travel to multiple job locations as needed.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Project management experience in construction.
- Strong history in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with sheet metal, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Proficiency in Procore software.
- Ability to handle change orders and RFIs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years as a Project Manager in the commercial HVAC mechanical construction industry on projects valued at $350k or more.
This position requires on-site work at the office, with occasional travel to job sites. Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and maintain a high level of confidentiality for company projects and policy. Professional conduct is expected both internally and externally with clients and vendors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, VA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
