Host​/Hostess

SSP is seeking a professional Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage traffic flow, and support meetings and events at our telecommunications-focused facilities. You'll greet visitors, coordinate seating or room assignments, manage check-in, and communicate with operations teams to keep schedules on track. In this role, you'll ensure a polished, safe, and efficient front-of-house experience that reflects SSP's safety-first, team-oriented culture while supporting staff and visitors working on wireless and public-safety communication projects.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and check in guests, visitors, and vendors
• Manage seating charts, room assignments, and guest flow
• Maintain an organized waitlist or reservation system as needed
• Coordinate with operations and event staff to support schedules
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts
• Provide facility directions and basic information to visitors
• Maintain a clean, professional front-of-house area
• Support adherence to SSP safety and security procedures
• Assist with basic administrative or event setup tasks
• Escalate visitor or scheduling issues to supervisors promptly
