Senior Systems Engineer – Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Location:
Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with strong Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise to support system design, integration, and digital‑engineering activities within a complex, mission‑critical environment. The role requires hands‑on technical skills, cross‑team collaboration, and the ability to work within secure government programs.

• Practical experience applying Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.
• Proficiency with Cameo or similar system‑modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains supporting design, integration, and test.
• Experience with high‑level programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Demonstrated engineering technical depth and project management capability.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in highly regulated environments.

• Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
• Additional programming proficiency (Python, C++, etc.).
• Experience performing Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessments.
• Background supporting programs with rapid delivery
  , evolving requirements, or high operational tempo.
• Proven customer‑facing communication
  , stakeholder engagement, and relationship‑building.
• Experience collaborating across multiple contracts, teams, or locations

• Familiarity with JIRA

  , and other collaborative engineering tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

• 6+ years engineering experience for mid‑level candidates (P3).
• 8+ years engineering experience for senior‑level candidates (P4).

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience (advanced degrees may count toward experience at hiring manager’s discretion).
