Position: Senior Electrical Engineer - Design (Onsite)

What You Will Do:

Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.
Integrate electrical components and wiring into design while meeting vendor and OEM requirements.
Verify system configuration and block diagram.
Operate in a team environment with other functional areas providing input to design solutions and participate in design reviews.
Oversee Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, Harness assembly drawing, Circuit Breakers, and Electrical Loads Analysis.
Coordinate Aircraft electrical mission equipment installations.
Identify, document, and communicate significant design and integration risks for timely review and resolution.
Monitor and report aircraft installation design milestones and report status to project/program management.
Be self-directed, able to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives with minimal oversight.

What You Will Learn:

The process of component selection for military aircraft and be a large part of selecting those parts for future customers (PM&P).
Cable and Harness Design (A-Kit).
The Basics of Cost accounts.
SDRL development and Submittal.

Qualifications You Must Have:

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
Experience in electrical design tools including Visio, AutoCAD, Capital Harness and Catia.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Active DoD security clearance.
Experience with aircraft and/or other technical system integration.
Experience with design and development processes with practical experience in multiple phases of the HW lifecycle: requirements, design, development, integration, validation/verification, and sustainment.
Experience working with manufacturing teams, vendors, and other suppliers to build cost‑effective solutions.
Experience with Systems integration.
Experience with Electrical Wiring Integration Systems (EWIS) standard.
