Senior Electrical Engineer

A Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for any number of design, analysis, prototype, and testing tasks. You will contribute to all aspects of the full product lifecycle: from requirements development, through preliminary design, critical design, prototype, test, and production. A Senior Electrical Engineer works relatively independently on their assignments, with guidance from a more senior-level electrical engineer on more complex design, analysis, or testing programs.

Ibeos is interested in individuals with skills and interests in some or all of the following areas:

• Electrical CAD design in OrCAD and Allegro
• Familiarity with radiation effects on electronics, EEE parts plans
• Electrical analysis, such as worst case, stress, and FMECA
• Designing test equipment
• Design for manufacture
• Electrical test plan/procedure generation
• First unit debug and support
• Writing test programs and test scripts using Matlab, Simulink, C, and/or Python
• Experience designing products for operation in space or radiation environments
• 5-10 years of experience either designing electronics, or test support equipment for electronics. Industry experience in space, or other high-reliability/low SWaP application is preferred.
