Schedule:
40 hours/week, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.
- Coordinate and plan work activities for Control Systems Techs/Leads to accomplish goals and objectives of North America Customer Fulfillment teams.
- Work closely with building Operations, Operations Engineering, FC Start‑up Team, AFT Software teams, ACES team, and WHS Safety in supporting material handling equipment (MHE) systems optimization and project implementation. Act as the technical consultant for capital projects inside the warehouse.
- Understand, maintain and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, Control Net, Device Net, Profibus, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor MHE equipment, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics and partner with maintenance/operations for system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations.
- Act as first‑level escalation support for the Control Systems Techs/Leads during and after business hours, troubleshooting locally or remotely and repairing all hardware or controls software systems in complex industrial environments.
- Project‑manage large‑scale initiatives that require coordination of site‑based Automation Engineers (AE) to accomplish business goals.
- Facilitate Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes and implement process improvements or retraining to avoid future incidents.
- Apply subject‑matter expertise (SME) in material handling and electronic systems to maximize building utilization of systems.
- Perform, utilize, and provide analysis building system assessments to evaluate material handling system performance.
- Program and source code for in‑house built solutions based on PLC or PC controllers and SCADA/OEE platforms.
- Develop solutions related to Automation Systems; communicate technical issues and project timelines with building leadership, operations and the maintenance team; explain production impacts.
- Assist with skill assessments for technical positions, mentoring Automation Engineers (AE), Control System Technicians (CST) and Control System Leads (CSL).
- Domestic travel up to 80% may be required to perform role responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- 2 years of proactive automation controls technical support experience maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance.
- 2 years of experience designing and troubleshooting material handling control systems, including programming PLCs and HMIs.
- 2 years of experience identifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying motor controls, including motor starters, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical distribution systems.
- 2 years of experience interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings.

Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $117,478–$148,200 (annually). Salary may vary based on experience, plus sign‑on bonus and restricted stock units.
