Electrical Engineer - RF Design
Electrical RF Engineer SME to join our design engineering team. In this role you will engage in design, development, integration, sustainment, and testing of system components to meet established mission requirements. The position covers all phases of system development, including requirements analysis, system design, architecture development, manufacturing, assembly, and test.
Responsibilities- Analyze, design, develop products.
- Understand current product portfolio to enhance product line and generate creativity for new products.
- Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing; set up and run laboratory simulations.
- Design interfaces that connect our products.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues to support production areas.
- Conduct and participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and other product development tasks.
- Support engineering design reviews with other engineers: PDR, CDR, TRR.
- Author interface control documents for systems and subsystems.
- Create schematics and BOMs for products.
- Analyze data to improve current systems and products.
- Be part of a team to establish system architecture.
- Lead technical execution of electrical engineering principles.
- Assist in generating technical content of white papers for proposal development as required.
Required:
- Bachelor’s (BS) in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of electrical engineering design work.
- RF or antenna signal experience.
- Exposure to standard engineering processes and terminology such as ICDs, SRDs, CDDs, PDR, CDR, Customer Acceptance, and PLM.
- Familiarity with RF analysis tools: GRASP, Ansys STK, MATLAB, and Keysight Genesys.
- Broad knowledge of digital communications signals.
- Experience operating laboratory equipment: network analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and custom test equipment.
- Excellent organization, communication, and writing skills; ability to express yourself in technical discussions, strategy, implementation, and system & subsystem design.
Desired:
- Developing test summaries with results, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Experience with electronic exploitation.
- Familiarity with Siemens PADS software for PCB layout design.
$75,200 - $158,100.
