Revenue Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Revenue Analyst to help drive financial performance through insightful revenue reporting, forecasting, and analytics. This individual will play a critical role in transforming complex financial data into actionable business intelligence, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to support growth, profitability, and operational decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of financial reporting, forecasting methodologies, and revenue recognition principles.

• Serve as a trusted finance partner by delivering meaningful analysis and insights related to revenue performance and business trends.
• Develop and maintain revenue forecasts, financial projections, and scenario models to support planning and strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate revenue activity across contracts, projects, customers, and business units to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances between actual performance, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Create data-driven models that assess the impact of operational, pricing, and market factors on revenue outcomes.
• Ensure the integrity of revenue reporting through detailed reconciliations, data validation, and cross-system analysis.
• Investigate revenue fluctuations and reporting discrepancies, providing recommendations to improve accuracy and transparency.
• Support the monthly and quarterly financial close process through analysis, reporting, and collaboration with accounting and finance teams.
• Partner with business leaders to understand key performance drivers and provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools that enhance visibility into financial and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, streamline workflows, and leverage automation to increase efficiency.
• Document analytical methodologies and reporting processes while promoting best practices across the finance organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in financial analysis, revenue analytics, FP&A, business finance, or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition concepts and their impact on financial reporting and business performance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Experience working with ERP platforms and enterprise financial systems.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze large volumes of data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management initiatives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with leaders across multiple functions.
• CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are preferred but not required.
