Join a fast-paced, patient-centered dermatology practice where your clinical skills truly matter. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who thrives in both clinical and procedural settings and wants to be a part of a highly professional care team delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working at the top of their training and supporting providers in exams, procedures, minor surgery, patient care, and clinical operations.
What You Will Do:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
- Assist physicians during exams, sterile field set-up, procedures, and surgical cases.
- Prepares/administers medications and injections per policy (5 Rights, expiry verification) and may process refill requests under provider direction.
- Prepare patients for treatment, including histories and consent documentation.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, injections, and suture removals.
- Prepare and stock exams rooms.
- Perform specimen handling and collection.
- Accurately document care, medications, test results, and procedures.
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing.
- Maintain medical equipment and supplies; responds to in-clinic emergencies per protocol and documents per policy
- Uphold HIPAA, safety standards, and quality care protocols
- Performs proper infection control and biohazard waste disposal; supports CLIA-waived testing procedures as trained.

You Should Have:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in a medical or clinical setting (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in both clinical and procedural environments.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- EMR/EHR experience preferred
- CPR certification.
