- Lead Recruiter for the Recruiting Operations section.
- Provide guidance for the Executive Recruiters.
- Assist the Recruiting Operations Manager in managing the section.
- Serve as acting Recruiting Operations manager in the absence of the RO manager.
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions related to the operations and operational direction of the organization.
- Maintain efficient and effective coordination, collaboration and communication with the RO, Executive Recruiters, and ASTP as well as other elements.
- Help the RO manager keep the program and company management informed on status of the candidate market and search strategies.
- Lead full life‑cycle recruitment of candidates per contract requirements, including sourcing, pre‑screening, interviewing, initiating background checks and report writing.
- Help develop unique and robust search strategies across a variety of functions and disciplines including research to identify specific targets based on needs.
- Develop active candidates through effective candidate engagement and evaluation.
- Maintain and update Applicant Tracking System.
- Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of experience with a focus on operational and strategic talent acquisition experience in the intelligence community.
- May consider an equivalent combination of civilian and military experience and education.
- Highly developed knowledge of interviewing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem‑solving skills when it comes to finding solutions and answers.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage conflict.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Strong in negotiations and networking.
- Strong team player capable of successful independent action.
- Work‑related foreign travel experience.
- Willingness to receive constructive criticism and apply it appropriately.
- Specialized operational experience.
