Required Background
- 3+ years of staffing outside sales experience.
- Experience selling into manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or light industrial clients.
- Existing relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers within the local market.
- Experience growing a staffing territory from the ground up.
- Experience with workforce management and high-volume hiring environments.
- History of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person client visits.
- Build and execute a strategic territory growth plan.
- Identify prospective clients and develop relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, operations leaders, and executives.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand workforce challenges and hiring needs.
- Present customized staffing and workforce management solutions.
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Negotiate service agreements, pricing, markups, and contract terms.
- Partner closely with recruiting and operations teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain CRM and ATS records with accurate sales activity, pipeline updates, and follow-up tasks.
- Stay informed on labor market trends, competitor activity, and regional hiring conditions.
- Represent the organization throughout the local business community through networking events and client meetings.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue goals.
