MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer oriented All Source Intelligence Analyst to join our innovative team in Sterling VA.
Each day U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) oversees the massive flow of people, capital, and products that enter and depart the United States via air, land, sea, and cyberspace. The volume and complexity of both physical and virtual border crossings require the application of “big data” solutions to promote efficient trade and travel. These solutions provide CBP personnel with additional tools to evaluate potential threats from legitimate trade and travel.
ResponsibilitiesInclude But Are Not Limited To
- Prepare finished analytic products, assessments, briefings, and other written or oral products on current threats and trends based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analytic tradecraft of all sources of classified and unclassified information, including intelligence collection INTs, open source, law enforcement, and other government data.
- Identify reporting of interest from nation-wide encounters and information to be included in the weekly intelligence briefing. This includes coordinating with briefers through email and assisting with the construction of concise informational slides.
- Provide all-source intelligence analysis on topics related to homeland security, including, but not limited to, border security, counter terrorism, counterintelligence, and critical infrastructure protection.
- Provide Collection research, analysis, and recommendations regarding liaison efforts with operational and support elements, external intelligence agencies, and external federal law enforcement elements to foster an environment of cooperation and sharing of information to develop future products better.
- Employ IC analytic standards and appropriate tradecraft, methodologies and techniques, and apply expertise to prepare assessments of current threats and trends for consumers from senior US officials to state and local and private sector customers.
- Collaborate with analysts across the (IC), law enforcement, and other agencies on products, working groups, and additional information sharing forums.
- Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) to seven (7) years’ experience in All-Source Intelligence Analysis at the national level.
- Experience in strategic planning and analysis and collaborating/coordinating all source analytic assessments with agencies across the IC.
- Written and verbal communication skills that have led to the ability to write and brief for various audiences with differing perspectives; and experience identifying topics and content for national intelligence briefings to include coordination with government and industry personnel at all levels of seniority.
- Experience in establishing/maintaining relationships with external law enforcement and Intel community partners (liaison activity); and experience as an all-source analyst in an IC or law enforcement agency producing finished, all-source analytical intelligence products per IC analytical standards, tradecraft, sourcing, and classification requirements.
- Experience using IC analytic systems and tools such as classified message databases, Analyst Notebook/i2, Web Intelligence Search Engine (WISE), or Palantir and experience using unclassified administrative software such as Office 365 applications to include Teams, SharePoint, etc.
- Must be well organized, process oriented, team-focused, and possess critical thinking skills and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with government and industry personnel at all levels of seniority.
- Skillset in Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, Collection Management, and Intel planning.
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the All-Source Intel Analyst field and prior U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) National Targeting Center (NTC) experience, preferably with proficiency in operational data analysis.
