Position Summary

Nightwing provides technically advanced full‑spectrums cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most demanding challenges. Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboratively works closely with the Sponsor, OM, and P&O Teams to identify, understand, and anticipate Mission Partner and SYSTEM requirements.
  • Executes administrative tasks related to IT procurement, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.
  • Maintains accurate records of licenses, warranties, and service agreements to support compliance and cost‑effective decision‑making.
  • Minimizes organizational costs through standardization and oversight of asset deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Supports customer infrastructure build‑outs (cage builds, overhead installations, rack and stack), testing, maintenance work, monitoring, and response to mechanical, electrical, fire protection, telecom, and security systems.
  • Develops and implements configuration management processes according to Sponsor guidelines and ITSM best practices.
  • Establishes and maintains the program CM Database (CMDB) by entering and updating configuration tracking information, implementing approved CMDB structure changes, and performing CMDB audits.
  • Works with the CPM and P&O Teams leadership team to ensure adherence of CM processes throughout life‑cycle phases.
  • Maintains and updates databases of IT assets including hardware, software, licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Tracks asset lifecycle activities including acquisition, deployment, reassignment, renewal, and disposal.
  • Coordinates IT procurement activities by working with vendors and internal stakeholders to support sourcing and acquisition.
  • Monitors software license compliance and renewals.
  • Standardizes products and procurement procedures to minimize costs and streamline IT operations.
  • Analyzes inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Tracks and reports on asset quality and performance across their lifecycle, identifying issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensures timely decommissioning and secure disposal of obsolete IT assets in accordance with company policies.
  • Manages the customer platform, integration, lab, and test data center lab environments.

    Languages:

    Familiarity with common programming languages and scripting languages for system configuration and automation.
