Baseband Installer

• Repair, test, and deploy devices in support of a global network.
• Install and maintain the latest communication systems and complex networks.
• Work in remote autonomous environments worldwide and collaborate with IT specialists, LAN/WAN engineers, facility management, and logistical professionals.
• Visit OCONUS locations to conduct site surveys and install/repair equipment.
• Design, update, and record system installations and connectivity using customer procedures and direction.
• Train customers on equipment operation and system testing.
• Compose, review, and update technical documentation.
• Manage installation teams at field sites and troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues.
• Ensure timely implementation of systems.

• 6+ years of experience as a field engineer supporting technical programs.
• Hands‑on knowledge of IP services (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, SIP).
• Experience installing and maintaining Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with UPS systems, AC/DC power systems, CAT5/6 and fiber‑optic cabling, and fabrication of required equipment.
• Proficiency with Remedy, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot difficult problems in the field.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50pounds and performing tasks such as bending, stooping, and kneeling.

• BS/BA in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph from day one of employment.
• U.S. citizenship.
• OCONUS travel up to 50% of the time, including hazard areas as required.
• Ability to work in remote and autonomous environments.

OCONUS TDY may be required up to 50% of the time; CONUS TDY is not required.
