OverviewNightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide rapid deployment and management of secure cloud‑based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. The Engagement Support Specialist will serve as a critical liaison between operational teams, technical staff, and government stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, resource coordination, and mission support throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Coordinate engagement kit requests and approvals with federal leads.
- Manage tracking and status reporting for all active engagement kits.
- Coordinate software license procurement and management.
- Facilitate hardware shipments and supplemental field device logistics.
- Serve as primary point of contact for engagement leads, analysts, and case managers.
- Compile and distribute weekly operational reports to federal leadership.
- Maintain engagement documentation and configuration records.
- Coordinate scheduling for kit provisioning and decommissioning activities.
- Track and report on engagement timelines and service level agreements.
- Support real‑time coordination during active operations.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and operational staff.
- Manage resource allocation requests and priority adjustments.
- Coordinate data archival confirmation and engagement closeout procedures.
- Maintain inventory of available resources and capacity planning information.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.
- 3+ years of experience in technical support, coordination, or program management roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with federal government stakeholders.
- Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Customer service orientation with technical aptitude.
- Experience with reporting and metrics tracking.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity or incident response operations.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and terminology.
- Background in IT service management or operations.
- Experience with ticketing and workflow management systems.
- Knowledge of federal procurement and logistics processes.
- Experience in 24/7 operational support environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Or high school diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Project management or ITIL certification.
