Systems Engineer; DevOps

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Systems Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of modern cloud-based platforms and mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong AWS knowledge, hands‑on CI/CD experience, and a deep understanding of containerized environments and Dev Ops best practices.

• Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure and application environments.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, security, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable and consistent deployments.
• Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Support container orchestration platforms, Kubernetes clusters, and associated tooling.
• Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams to improve platform resilience and performance.
• Maintain strong version control discipline across all code repositories.

• Technical bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field).
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Dev Ops, cloud engineering, or systems engineering.

Foundational-to-intermediate experience using AWS Console and CLI, with working knowledge of:

SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Cloud Watch Logs, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation (CFN), Step Functions, Route 53, Dynamo

DB, EBS, EFS, S3, EC2, Lambda, ECR, ECS, EKS, KMS, IAM, Secrets Manager.

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, or similar.
• Ability to integrate automated testing, scanning, and deployment orchestration.

• Strong experience with Docker/Podman.
• Expert understanding of Kubernetes (EKS or on‑prem).
• Familiarity with:
• Argo CD (Git Ops deployment).
• Helm.
• Istio service mesh.
• Keycloak for identity and access management.

• Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review best practices.
• Experience working within automation‑driven Dev Ops environments.
• Ability to document architectures, processes, and operational runbooks.

• Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or Power Shell).
• Background in security best practices and compliance frameworks.
