Nightwing is seeking a cleared and experienced Systems Integrator/Referent in the McLean area.
Responsibilities- Operate as primary liaison between Customer mission support entities.
- Track communications and disseminate items that require attention and coordination.
- Work directly with client components and mission partners, domestically and in the field, to address readiness issues impacting the client mission.
- Continuously update the client Sharepoint site and other applicable database activities.
- Submit requests for travel and assist in providing support to begin work.
- Provide periodic briefings on status of efforts to improve readiness in the field (equipment orders/shipments, etc).
- Knowledge of Customer OCONUS environment.
- Experience coordinating travel/medical/training for resources traveling to OCONUS field environments.
- Proficiency in accessing, using and manipulating client databases (assign actions, respond to messages, create and post messages).
- General knowledge of field activities and how the client supports these activities (policies, procedures, organization).
- Extensive knowledge of client communication and messaging systems.
- Ability to use client systems to submit and track supply and equipment orders.
- Understanding of general field IT issues and the general project management process.
- Calendar management for client leadership (serves as backup when MS is out).
- Knowledge of client mission areas (specifically operations).
- Knowledge of client directorates and their areas of focus.
- Experience setting up meetings, creating agendas, arranging off‑sites, and taking/publishing professional meeting minutes.
- Experience ordering and shipping materials domestically and internationally.
- Demonstrated use of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.).
- Working level knowledge of web products, to include SharePoint (user level only), Wikis, Databases, etc.
- JNCIA, CCNA, COMPTIA Security+ or other industry‑recognized certifications.
- Experience as a Senior Operations and Technical Manager.
- Domestic and overseas IT, telecommunications, and security experience.
- Field communications OCONUS travel experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including Cisco and Juniper routers, firewalls, and switches.
- Use of test equipment: JDSUFST‑2802, Cable Eye tester, multi‑meter, Firebird
6000A, Digital Lightwave. - Upgrading/degrading telecommunications devices using TFTP, FTP, and terminal emulator programs.
- Implementation of test plans for bench and system test equipment and components.
- Interpretation of interconnect (IC) drawings and wiring schematics.
- Fabrication and running of CAT6 cables and other data cables.
- Adherence to basic safety practices.

High School Education (Can Equivalent Experience be Substituted for Educational Requirement? No). - Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or communications (Can Equivalent Experience be Substituted for Educational Requirement? Yes).
- Weapons Certification
Required:
Not required for hire, but must be willing and capable of becoming certified. - Professional License or Certification:
None. - Clearance: TS/SCI with full scope polygraph.
- OCONUS TDY
Required:
Yes, up to 10% OCONUS travel, including hazard areas as required. - CONUS TDY
Required:
Yes, up to 10% CONUS travel, as required. - Travel Requirements/Amount and Duration:
Subject to Customer needs and may be more or less than listed.
