Border Security AI​/ML Engineer

Job Summary

• Collaborate with border security and law enforcement clients to design, develop and deploy AI and ML applications to support mission outcomes.
• Develop optimized ML tool sets and applications aligned to customer use cases.
• Develop and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates.
• Coordinate with non-technical users to gather requirements.
• Support key mission clients within the Washington DC Metro region at client sites.

• Active and maintained CBP Public Trust or active and maintained “Top Secret” Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience designing and implementing machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence solutions.
• Experience deploying Machine Learning solutions within cloud environments including AWS and/or Google.
• Experience configuring AI applications for law enforcement use cases.

• Experience working with COTS data tools such as Data Robot.
• Proficiency working with CSP platforms and tools such as AWS Sage Maker and Rekognition, Google Cloud Platform and Google AI tools.
• Experience developing bespoke analytical tools for law enforcement analysis.
• Direct experience supporting the National Targeting Center or similar National Security analysis fusion centers.
