Data Center Technician (Break-Fix / Hardware) NIGHT SHIFT

We’re hiring Data Center Technicians to join a rapidly expanding team supporting critical environments in Northern Virginia — home to some of the largest data centers in the world. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll gain real experience working with server hardware, networking, and enterprise infrastructure—with clear potential to grow into long‑term opportunities.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues (break/fix)
- Install and deploy servers, racks, and other IT equipment
- Perform troubleshooting on physical infrastructure
- Replace faulty components (drives, memory, cables, etc.)
- Support ongoing maintenance and operational uptime
- Document work performed and contribute to process improvements
- Collaborate with teams to solve issues quickly and efficiently
- Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PCs or servers
- Data center or IT support experience
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Experience with hardware repair or break/fix environments
- NIGHT SHIFT 7pm-7am
- A‑Side / B‑Side schedules (3–4 days per week, 10–12 hour shifts)
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in tight, noisy, or elevated spaces
- Stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Work on ladders or within racks as needed
- Get hands‑on experience in hyperscale data centers
- Build a foundation in hardware, networking, and infrastructure
- Opportunity to convert to full-time
- Work in one of the top data center markets in the country (Northern VA)
This is a Contract position based out of Sterling, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
