ServiceNow Developer Junior

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer with strong JavaScript abilities to join our client’s team. In this role, you will conduct thorough testing of Service Now configurations, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, develop and maintain advanced scripts and business rules, and support data migration from legacy systems while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, possess a clearance of the Public Trust level or higher, and be eligible to obtain a DHS Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing of Service Now configurations to ensure optimal functionality, data integrity, and a seamless user experience.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges associated with Service Now implementations.
• Create, refine, and manage advanced scripts, business rules, and client scripts.
• Assist in designing and executing data migration strategies from legacy systems to Service Now, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the transition.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in implementing Service Now solutions.
• Service Now Certified System Administrator Certification required.
• Must hold a current Public Trust clearance or higher and be eligible to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
• Proficient in JavaScript (skills will be tested during the interview process).
• Deep understanding of the Service Now API.
• Ability to think beyond standard Service Now solutions and develop creative approaches when requirements extend beyond out-of-the-box functionality.
• Capable of independently configuring, customizing, and implementing Service Now applications using App Engine to meet business needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience with agile methodology and working within agile scrum teams.
• Effective in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation

• The compensation for this role is up to $110,000, based on experience and qualifications.
