The Scrum Master will assist the Program Manger and various team members with designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise web applications to support challenging and demanding high profile customers. The role includes coaching teams, implementing agile methodologies, identifying best practices, translating customer business needs into application and operational requirements, and leading teams through agile sprints to develop, test, integrate and deploy applications.
Responsibilities- Coaching role and help implement agile methodologies within the project teams.
- Identifying best practices for repeating and standardizing workflows and guiding new technology integration.
- Recording and evaluating requirements; tracking multiple teams’ progress through succession of agile methodologies.
- Coordinating multiple project schedules against larger office-level schedules.
- Spearheading and driving technology advancements and improvements for existing capabilities.
- Strong understanding of project management process and/or project management framework.
- Experience with agile methodology and Scrum and Kanban processes, including facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, and driving the team to meet incremental deliveries.
- Effective PM skills providing end-to-end lifecycle support.
- Assess, document and track new requirements, manage sprint backlog, and facilitate/schedule technical exchange meetings with customers as needed.
- Plan and coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling meetings and preparing briefings/presentations.
- Strong working knowledge of Project Management software tools and ability to build work breakdown structures, project schedules, risk registers, and other programmatic artifacts.
- Excellent analytic and communication skills to build and document processes, policies, and job aids.
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with willingness to assist and support the team with evolving requirements and objectives.
- Attentive listener, cooperative colleague, and ability to help others achieve the organization’s goals.
TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Day 1.
