An Insight Global client is seeking a datacenter/configuration technician to join their team fully onsite in Sterling, VA. This will be a month-long contract till the end of June.

Services include the following and they need to have data center technician experience with the below tasks:

• Unpack equipment and visual damage inspection
• Unbox and install HW in the rack including PDUs, rail kits, servers, and network devices, according to Customer supplied rack elevation diagrams.
• Install power cables and power-on devices, according to Customer provided power cable map
• Apply device labels to the appropriate hardware.
• Label device power cables, PDUs, and power WHIPS per customer’s power label schema
• Install all intra-rack network cables per Customer provided network cable map
• Apply cable labels on all intra-rack cables per Customer provided network cable label schema
• Repackage rack and prepare for shipping

Education Requirements:
