Systems Administrator​/Cloud Platform - Expert

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, supporting the hardware and software infrastructure, including cloud infrastructure, for an enterprise team. The position requires broad knowledge of hardware maintenance, system administration, automation technologies, scripting, security, accreditation practices, and enterprise resources.

• Perform general system administration activities: user account creation, implementation of security policy, hardware installation, driver installation, software patching, monitoring activity logs, and creation of automation scripts.
• Provide tier 1 technical support to a group of approximately 20 users.
• Maintain and care for digitization hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

• Broad knowledge of hardware maintenance and care.
• Strong system administration skills.
• Experience with automation technologies and scripting.
• Knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with cloud provider services (VPC, Subnet, EC2, AWS services).
• Knowledge of cloud provider scripting languages.
• Understanding of backup and restoration procedures.
• Understanding of automation (Cloud Formation).
• Understanding of certificates and PKI infrastructure.
• Understanding of network devices.
• TS/SCI with polygraph required.

• Day‑1 salary range: $99,000 – $206,000, paid based on qualifications, experience, and market standards.
