Job OverviewWe are looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to work independently and with a team to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks. You will assist in automating and scaling our network and support all AWS data centers through design, planning, delivery, and operation of infrastructure equipment.
Responsibilities- Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling, patching between equipment.
- Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely operate material handling tools and equipment.
- Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in a 24/7 environment, participating in primary responder rotation and after‑hours support.
- Operate in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or technical project management.
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience managing medium to large, complex project scopes.
- Knowledge of major command‑line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).
