Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems.
- Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission‑critical applications and infrastructure services.
- Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks.
- Maintain operational baselines.
- Support database administrators.
- BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments.
- Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing both virtual and physical servers.
- Experience performing system monitoring.
- Experience with backup management.
- Experience implementing performance optimizations.
- Currently valid DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification.
Demonstrates expertise in system administration with a focus on Linux and UNIX environments, alongside experience in managing both virtual and physical servers. Proficient in Oracle Database management and operational maintenance within classified settings.
