TITLE: Sr. Dev Sec Ops  Engineer

LOCATION: Sterling, VA (Relocation assistance considered)

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Onsite

POSITION SUMMARY

MGS is seeking a Sr. Dev Sec Ops  Engineer to design, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and Dev Sec Ops  workflows within secure cloud environments in support of national security missions. In this role, you will drive automation, integration, and quality assurance across iterative development projects, ensuring platform reliability and security compliance. Working alongside engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams, you will troubleshoot complex issues, develop integration interfaces, and implement improvements that directly enable mission delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

(not limited to)
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and Dev Sec Ops  workflows within cloud-based environments.
  • Support cloud architecture and system design, with a preference for AWS.
  • Develop and maintain integration interfaces using Python, Power Shell, and Groovy.
  • Decompose and manage tasks using Agile methodologies and Jira story development.
  • Build and maintain robust test plans; perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure operational readiness.
  • Administer and maintain system components, API gateways, and catalogs.
  • Implement and maintain Dev Ops automation using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git Lab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP.
  • Support containerized environments utilizing Rancher, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Quickly assess and apply customer security requirements and processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Must meet DoD 8140 requirements, including Security+ CE certification.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field.
  • 10+ years of experience with CI/CD, test automation, and Dev Sec Ops  on iterative development projects.
  • Experience with cloud architecture and system design, preferably AWS.
  • Experience developing integration interfaces using Python, Power Shell, and Groovy.
  • Experience with Dev Ops tooling including Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git Lab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP.
  • Experience with API gateways and catalogs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and task decomposition using Jira.
  • Familiarity with containerized development environments including Rancher and Kubernetes.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools.
  • Experience optimizing cloud-hosted solutions and supporting Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), IBM Cloud, or similar environments.
  • Experience configuring and instrumenting monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Splunk.
  • Experience implementing and integrating Service Now solutions.
  • Experience supporting virtualization technologies and application streaming or layering techniques.
  • Experience leading from a total system perspective across cloud services, infrastructure, and security domains.
  • Experience configuring and administering SharePoint, IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), Teamwork Cloud/Cameo, and Tableau.
