AV Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Technician to join our Bridges SI Service Team. • Diagnose and resolve AV hardware and software issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform system testing, QA reviews, and site surveys to ensure high-quality installations.
• Support and operate AV and VTC systems, including hands-on end-user training.
• Complete AV/IT cable terminations and perform basic network setup.
• Connect and configure devices via IP or serial, including loading and adjusting DSP and control system files.
• Execute audio system setup and advanced video alignment for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and signal flows.
• Conduct remote and onsite troubleshooting for installed AV systems.
• Deliver clear, effective end-user training on system functionality and best practices.

• Excellent communication skills with strong customer-service instincts.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with presentation and VTC setups.
• Skilled in configuring and integrating complex AV systems.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to recognize major AV brands and equipment by sight.

• 5+ years of combined experience in System Integration, AV/VTC installation, or on-site technical support.
• CTS certification preferred (or equivalent industry credential).
• Completion of manufacturer training from one or more major platforms, such as AMX, Crestron, Barco, Biamp, Extron, or QSC.
